*I've gotten many questions on the base- it's simply a piece of wood from home depot, with a flange screwed on, a threaded pipe screwed into that, and a piece of emt taped into the pipe. Take this to home depot and the guy there will show you what each of those things are ;-)

**hi sandi . . .thank you very much for this demonstration, i am so excited that i found your video today. i've been looking for a tutorial on this. i am a new balloon artist who just recently moved to a suburb of l.a. from san diego. i make my bases 12" inch squares with 1/2 inch flanges and pvc poles. my question is, what are yours, they look like 18-24". any little bit of advice can help, in the meantime i'll keep looking for your videos and will go to your website. thanks again, gia

**I make my bases 2' x 2' - I go to home depot and get the sheets of plywood that are 4 x 8 and have them cut it into 8 pieces. I prefer to have a wider footprint to make it more wind resistant and hold up better against torque from arches. :-) I talk a little more about the baseplate on the stairway to the stars video.

***Awesome sandi, is there already a video on how to make the balloon stop lights? My sons second birthday theme is the 1st week in august & will be Disney cars & I would love to make these :)

**Sorry for the late response- I just saw this. I don't know if there is a video out there, but if you just count the clusters you should be able to figure out the pattern. It's based on quads (sets of 4 balloons) - so it's solid color quads with either red, yellow or green in every other layer (2 sided, one cluster for each color).

**hi sandi . . . i admire your designs and professionalism, so i thought i would pose this question to you. i purchased a dual second split sizer but didn't know i needed a regulator. so i bought an air compressor but it is entirely too loud. i do not have a helium/nitrogen tank and would prefer an air compressor right now. do you have any suggestions on a good, QUIET compressor?

**an you do a lion king balloon characters or a phantom of the opera balloon.

**Wow! I really really like your idea. Please make MORE awesome videos..

**Excellent tutorial. What type of base (or how do you make the base) for the arches? I've been looking all around and there is no real "tutorial" on how to do wide arches like the ones you do.

**Thanks Sandi! I enjoyed watching your tutorials. I'm trying to add more twisting into my balloon decor'.

**I think that brodys 800 4 balloons is in the chicago area- they may do some training classes.
