*I've gotten many questions on the base- it's simply a piece of wood from home depot, with a flange screwed on, a threaded pipe screwed into that, and a piece of emt taped into the pipe. Take this to home depot and the guy there will show you what each of those things are ;-)

**hi sandi . . .thank you very much for this demonstration, i am so excited that i found your video today. i've been looking for a tutorial on this. i am a new balloon artist who just recently moved to a suburb of l.a. from san diego. i make my bases 12" inch squares with 1/2 inch flanges and pvc poles. my question is, what are yours, they look like 18-24". any little bit of advice can help, in the meantime i'll keep looking for your videos and will go to your website. thanks again, gia

**I make my bases 2' x 2' - I go to home depot and get the sheets of plywood that are 4 x 8 and have them cut it into 8 pieces. I prefer to have a wider footprint to make it more wind resistant and hold up better against torque from arches. :-) I talk a little more about the baseplate on the stairway to the stars video.

***Awesome sandi, is there already a video on how to make the balloon stop lights? My sons second birthday theme is the 1st week in august & will be Disney cars & I would love to make these :)

**Sorry for the late response- I just saw this. I don't know if there is a video out there, but if you just count the clusters you should be able to figure out the pattern. It's based on quads (sets of 4 balloons) - so it's solid color quads with either red, yellow or green in every other layer (2 sided, one cluster for each color).

**hi sandi . . . i admire your designs and professionalism, so i thought i would pose this question to you. i purchased a dual second split sizer but didn't know i needed a regulator. so i bought an air compressor but it is entirely too loud. i do not have a helium/nitrogen tank and would prefer an air compressor right now. do you have any suggestions on a good, QUIET compressor?

**an you do a lion king balloon characters or a phantom of the opera balloon.

**Wow! I really really like your idea. Please make MORE awesome videos..

**Excellent tutorial. What type of base (or how do you make the base) for the arches? I've been looking all around and there is no real "tutorial" on how to do wide arches like the ones you do.

**Thanks Sandi! I enjoyed watching your tutorials. I'm trying to add more twisting into my balloon decor'.

**I think that brodys 800 4 balloons is in the chicago area- they may do some training classes.

**I made 180 balloon flowers to go in vases for a corporate event.

**There is a lot of pre prep involved, the evening before I made all the flower heads and stems took about 2 hours, on that morning at the venue about another 2 hours.

**Beautifully done! No kidding on the fingers! a lot of balloons!

**

**i want to stick these to wall for my babys birthday party, can i do these with 12" or 9" balloons, will they be too big? how many pumps should i make.

***It depends on how much open space you have on and in front of the wall. When is the party? I can work on a video showing two different ways I make the large flowers and get it uploaded Saturday.

**Where did you purchase the balloon's from - I can't find any 5" polka dot balloon anywhere.

**how do I use this as a centrepiece what what would I use to keep it standing from the table?

**There is a way to do it. Table balloon arch is going to be one of my upcoming videos so you'll be able to see how there.

**There are a few different ways to do balloon. I'll work on getting a video put together for that.

**I tie them as close as possible, so the inflated part is on one side of the knot and the excess neck is on the other.

**Just made theses such an easy fun way to decorate balloon for a little girls party ... LUV IT!!!!

**can you make a balloon arch out of balloon flower.

**on amazon. I only use Qualatex brand hand pumps because they are the best. : )

**Balloons fly up with helium. The small 5" balloons won't float with helium, you would need to make it with 9", 11", 12", or 16" balloons.

**I personally use the command hooks and attach a line to the middle on the back-side. If tape won't damage your wall and you can get the balloon to stay on it then you could use double-sided tape. If they don't stick, then you can get some glue dots (sold at walmart, michaels, hobby lobby usually around the scrapbook section) and put a glue dot on the balloon and stick it to the tape.

**I have a party next Saturday, how soon should I make these? How long will they last the balloon?

**You can make them a day or two before. the  Balloon They'll last for weeks if kept inside in a temperature controlled room. They can start to loose the shine as soon as a few days so you don't want to make them too early. : )

***I'm not the best with technology! i think i made a video response showing my balloons but i dont know how to upload it:

**Your balloon video's are fantastic! i'm having a teddy bears picnic theme for my daughters 1st birthday (summer time) & will be using the flower balloon as it will be in the garden - It will look so pretty :)
